Moncton Consumer Confidence Levels Continue to be Positive
Halifax: Moncton continues to outperform other major Maritime cities in terms of consumer confidence although levels have declined slightly, according to the most recent Urban Report Survey conducted by Corporate Research Associates Inc. (CRA). Specifically, Moncton consumer confidence rests at 101.5 (down from 103.9 three months ago), above levels in Halifax, Fredericton, and Saint John.
In addition, satisfaction with the municipal government in Moncton is stable, similar to findings in other cities in the Maritimes. Specifically, three-quarters of Moncton (73%, compared with 79% three months ago) are satisfied with the performance of the Council under Mayor LeBlanc’s leadership.
